Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the centre pillar lower trim. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the lower seat belt bolt. Refer to Front Seat Belt Replacement (Front Seat Belt Replacement).




3. Remove the centre trim panel retaining torx screws (1).




4. Detach the trim panel (1) from the B pillar by pulling inwards then downwards.

Installation Procedure

1. Move height adjuster to the upper position.
2. Move B pillar slide to the upper position.




3. Install the trim panel, by inserting the locating pins (1) into the roof panel first.
4. Line up pin on trim to slot in height adjuster.
5. Ensure main datum pin is correctly assembled into the datum hole.





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

6. Install the centre trim panel retaining torx screws (1) and tighten to 2.0 Nm (18 lb in).
7. Install the lower seat belt bolt. Refer to Front Seat Belt Replacement (Front Seat Belt Replacement).
8. Install the centre pillar lower trim. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
