Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement

Removal Procedure





Caution: Refer to Glass and Sheet Metal Handling Warning (Glass and Sheet Metal Handling Warning).

Note: Take necessary precautions so as not to damage the vehicle's painted exterior surfaces whilst removing the windshield pillar garnish moulding from the vehicle's windshield pillar.

1. Using a suitable tool, carefully disengage the windshield pillar garnish moulding retaining tabs (1) from the fender edge (2).
2. Carefully peel the upper length of the windshield pillar garnish moulding (3) out of the windshield seam (4) on the windshield pillar (5).
3. Remove the windshield pillar garnish moulding (3).

Installation Procedure





Note: The windshield pillar garnish moulding is malleable during installation. Care must be taken not to over extend the windshield pillar garnish moulding during installation or damage may result.

Note: The windshield pillar garnish moulding must be located correctly in the windshield seam to reduce any chance of dislocation.

1. Locate the windshield pillar garnish moulding retaining tabs (1) underneath the fender edge (2) and engage.
2. Feed the upper length of the windshield pillar garnish moulding (3) into the windshield seam (4) on the windshield pillar (5).
3. Check the windshield pillar garnish moulding for correct fitment.
