Rear Split Folding Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement).
2. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement) in Seats.
3. Remove the rear set back folding. Refer to Rear Split Folding Seat Back Replacement (Rear Split Folding Seat Back Replacement).
4. Place seat back face down on a suitable work surface.




5. Detach the seat back cover from the seat back base as shown in illustration.
6. Turn the seat back over on the base.




7. lift the seat cover and pad to expose the seat back latch assembly (1).
8. Remove the rear centre seat latch assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Back Latch Replacement (Service and Repair).
9. Remove the seat back cover.

Installation Procedure

Important: Do not install the release button until the seat cover is fully installed.


1. Install the centre seat back latch assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Back Latch Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Turn the centre seat over.

Important: When installing the seat cover, pull the cover tight in all corners to ensure no lumps will occur.


3. Install the centre seat cover to the seat pad and frame, listen for audible clicks to confirm fitting.
4. Turn the centre seat over.
5. Press down firmly on the seat pad channels to ensure a smooth finish to the cover.
6. Install the rear set back folding. Refer to Rear Split Folding Seat Back Replacement (Rear Split Folding Seat Back Replacement).
7. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement) in Seats.
8. Install the seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement).
