Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement

Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement.

1. Remove the rear seat cushion assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement).
2. Place the rear seat cushion assembly on a suitable work surface.




3. With a suitable tool, disengage the rear seat cushion cover to rear seat base pad retaining clips (1).




4. Detach the J-strips (1) from the rear seat base pad (2).
5. Detach the rear seat cushion cover (3) from the rear seat base pad retaining hooks (4).
6. Detach the seat belt cross strap J-strips (5) from the rear seat base pad (2).




7. Detach the rear seat cushion cover retainers (1) from the rear seat cushion cover (2).




8. Remove the rear seat cushion cover (1) from the rear seat base pad (2).

Installation Procedure





Important: Make sure that the velcro fasteners are located correctly to prevent the rear seat cushion cover (1) from moving away from the rear seat base pad (2) contours.


Important: Make sure the rear seat cushion cover (1) fits tightly, without creases, over the rear seat base pad (2).


1. Install the rear seat cushion cover (1) to the rear seat base pad (2).




2. Install the rear seat cushion cover retainers (1) to the rear seat cushion cover (2).




3. Attach the seat belt cross strap J-strips (5) to the rear seat base pad (2).
4. Attach the rear seat cushion cover (3) to the rear seat base pad retaining hooks (4).
5. Attach the J-strips (1) to the rear seat base pad (2).




6. Attach the rear seat cushion cover to rear seat base pad retaining clips (1). Listen for an audible click to confirm correct fitment.
7. Install the rear seat cushion assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement).
