Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the air intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement (Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement).
2. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement (Service and Repair).




3. Remove the drive belt tensioner to engine front cover retaining bolts (1).
4. Remove the drive belt tensioner (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the drive belt tensioner (2) to the engine front cover.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the drive belt tensioner to the engine front cover retaining bolts (1) and tighten to 22 Nm (17 lb ft).
3. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Install the air intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement (Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement).
