Oil Level Indicator and Tube Installation




1. Install a NEW O-ring (2) on the oil level indicator tube (1).




2. Install the oil level indicator and tube (1) by sliding the oil level indicator and tube (1) down through the exhaust manifold (2).





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

3. Install the oil level indicator tube bracket to cylinder head retaining bolt (2) and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in).




4. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield (2).
5. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield to exhaust manifold retaining bolts (1) and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
