Circuit/System Description

When the appropriate power outlet accessory is in use, the power outlet receptacle is supplied B+ when the ignition is on or in the accessory position.

Circuit/System Testing

1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the appropriate power outlet receptacle.
2. Test for less than 5 ohm between the ground circuit terminal B and ground.

• If greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance.

3. Ignition ON, test for B+ between the B+ circuit terminal A and ground.

• If less than the specified range, test the B+ circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance.

4. Replace the appropriate power outlet receptacle.

Repair Instructions
