Front Bumper Fascia Reinforcement Replacement


Removal Procedure

Warning:Refer to Safety Glasses Warning .
Danger:To avoid any vehicle damage, serious personal injury or death when major components are removed from the vehicle and the vehicle is supported by a hoist, support the vehicle with jack stands at the opposite end from which the components are being removed and strap the vehicle to the hoist.
1.Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .





2.Remove the rivet (2) that secures the front bumper fascia reinforcement (1) to the front bumper fascia. The rivet must be discarded after removal.

Discard the rivet.

3.Remove the front bumper fascia reinforcement (1) from the front bumper fascia.

Installation Procedure





1.Position the front bumper fascia reinforcement (1) to the front bumper fascia.

2.Install the NEW rivet (2) to secure the front bumper fascia reinforcement to the front bumper fascia.

3.Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
