Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel Replacement
Removal Procedure (Up to 13 Jun 2007)
1. Remove the convenience net (if fitted). Refer to Rear Compartment Stowage Tray Net Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the rear carpet. Refer to Rear Compartment Floor Panel Carpet Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the rear end panel trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Remove the seat back assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement).
5. Remove the two carpet retainers (1) securing the rear quarter panel side carpet. The left side is shown, the right side is similar.
6. Remove the two carpet retainers (1) securing the rear quarter panel side carpet, which are located inside of the vehicle.
7. Remove the two carpet retainers (1) securing the centre panel carpet.
8. Remove the quarter panel side carpet retainer (1) securing the rear quarter panel side carpet.
9. Remove the quarter panel side carpet.
10. Carry out this procedure for the opposite side.
Installation Procedure (Up to 13 Jun 2007)
1. Install the quarter panel side carpet.
2. Install the quarter panel side carpet retainer (1).
3. Install the two carpet retainers (1) to secure the centre panel carpet.
4. Install the two carpet retainers (1) securing the rear quarter panel side carpet.
5. Install the two carpet retainers securing the rear quarter panel side carpet.
6. Ensure the carpet has a flush finish with the quarter panel.
7. Install the seat back assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement).
8. Install the rear end panel trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
9. Install the rear carpet. Refer to Rear Compartment Floor Panel Carpet Replacement (Service and Repair).
10. Install the convenience net. Refer to Rear Compartment Stowage Tray Net Replacement (Service and Repair).

5. Remove the three carpet retainers (1) securing the rear quarter panel side carpet. The right side is shown, the left side is similar.
6. Remove the two carpet retainers (1) securing the rear quarter panel side carpet, which are located inside of the vehicle.
7. Remove the two carpet retainers (1) securing the centre panel carpet.
8. Remove the quarter panel side carpet retainer (1) securing the rear quarter panel side carpet.
9. Remove the quarter panel side carpet.
10. Carry out this procedure for the opposite side.
Installation Procedure (From 13 Jun 2007)
1. Install the quarter panel side carpet.
2. Install the quarter panel side carpet retainer (1).
3. Install the two carpet retainers (1) to secure the centre panel carpet.
4. Install the two carpet retainers (1) securing the rear quarter panel side carpet.
5. Install the three carpet retainers (1) securing the rear quarter panel side carpet.
6. Make sure the carpet has a flush finish with the quarter panel.
7. Install the seat back assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement).
8. Install the rear end panel trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
9. Install the rear carpet. Refer to Rear Compartment Floor Panel Carpet Replacement (Service and Repair).
10. Install the convenience net. (If fitted). Refer to Rear Compartment Stowage Tray Net Replacement (Service and Repair).
