Rear Split Folding Seat Back Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement).
2. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement).




3. Remove the rear forward folding seat to body retaining nuts (1).




4. Depress the rear forward folding seat back release button (1) and remove the rear forward folding seat (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the rear forward folding seat back to the vehicle. Make sure that the rear forward folding seat back latch engages the lock striker (1). Listen for an audible click to confirm correct fitment.





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the rear forward folding seat to body retaining nuts (1) and tighten to 23 Nm (17 lb ft).
3. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement).
4. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement).
