Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose Replacement (6.0L)
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the radiator air baffle and deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair) in Body Front End.
2. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (3.6 L) (Service and Repair)Cooling System Draining and Filling (6.0 L) (Service and Repair).
3. Release the coolant air bleed hose retaining clamp (2) and remove the coolant air bleed hose (1) from the coolant air bleed pipe (3).
4. Release the retaining hose clamp (2) on the coolant air bleed hose (1) and remove it from the radiator spigot (3).
Installation Procedure
1. Attach the coolant air bleed hose (1) to the radiator spigot (3)
2. Secure the coolant air bleed hose (1) with the retaining hose clamp (2)
3. Attach and secure coolant air bleed hose (1) to the coolant air bleed pipe (3) and secure with the retaining hose clamp (2).
4. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (3.6 L) (Service and Repair)Cooling System Draining and Filling (6.0 L) (Service and Repair).
5. Install the radiator air baffle and deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair) in Body Front End.
