Rear Carrier Removal




1. Using a screwdriver, pry out the snap ring.




2. Remove the rear carrier from the transaxle.




3. Remove the rear carrier thrust washer from the rear sun gear.




4. Remove the bearing race from the rear sun gear.




5. Remove the thrust bearings, bearing race and sun gear from the transaxle.
