Transmission Fluid Pump Disassemble

J 2619-01 Slide Hammer




1. Remove the forward clutch housing fluid seal rings.




2. Remove the bolts (1-11) and separate the fluid pump body from the fluid pump cover. Keep the gears in assembled order.




3. Remove the front fluid pump drive gear (1).




4. Remove the front fluid pump driven gear (1).




5. Using a screwdriver, pry out the seal.




6. Mount the fluid pump in a soft jaw vise.
7. Using J 2619-01 (1), remove the seal from the oil pump body.
