Transmission Fluid Pump Removal




1. Using a screwdriver, pry out the oil seal from the transmission.
2. Mount the transaxle case with the fluid pump side facing up.




3. Remove the transmission case fluid passage plugs.
4. Remove the O-rings from the transmission case fluid passage plugs.




5. Remove the bolts (1-18).

Note: The differential may be removed when the transaxle housing is removed.

6. Tap on the circumference of the differential housing with a plastic-faced hammer to remove the differential housing from the transmission case.




7. Remove the bolts (1-7) and fluid pump from the transmission case.
