Oil Level Indicator Tube Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the oil level indicator from the guide tube.
2. Remove the guide tube bolt (1) from the cylinder block.
3. Remove the guide tube from the cylinder block.

Installation Procedure




1. Use new engine oil in order to coat the new guide tube seal.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the new guide tube seal (1) to the guide tube. Secure the guide tube to the cylinder block using one bolt and tighten to 14 Nm (10 lb ft).
3. Install the oil level indicator to the guide tube.
