Removing trim panel under dashboard

Information

- To reduce the unclipping forces and thereby the risk of damage during removal, the removal steps must be carried out at the accessible connection points using a suitable tool.

1. Unscrew seven fastening screws -1-.

2. Unclip trim panel at the top -2-.

3. Remove trim panel -3- from the guide -4- ( -A- ).

4. Pull electric plug connection off the main light switch -A-.

5. Release electric plug connection from parking brake switch -a- and pull it off -A-.

6. Release electric plug connection from diagnostic connector -a- and pull it off -A-.

Installing trim panel under dashboard

The trim panel under the dashboard is installed in reverse order to removal.

Subsequent work

1. Install dashboard insert at the bottom. -> 900319 Removing and installing dashboard insert - section on "Installing" 9900319 Removing and installing dashboard inset
2. Install cover under dashboard on the driver's side. -> 702219 Removing and installing cover under dashboard - section on "Installing" 702219 Removing and installing cover under dashboard
