Replacing outer seal

1. Pull outer seal -1- off the bonding surface -3- on the roof -2-.
2. Remove any adhesive residue from the roof using an erasing disc film eraser Nr.174 Pos.1.

Information

- Immediately before sticking on, wash off the areas on which you intend to stick the seal using isopropanol to ensure that all traces of silicone, grease and oil are completely removed.

3. Clean bonding surface with isopropanol.
4. Centre the new outer seal -1- with the gap -arrow- facing the middle of the rear roof cut-out.
5. Pull off protective film on the adhesive tape -3- and press the seal evenly onto the roof -2-.
6. Press the outer seal firmly onto the roof by pressing it on evenly twice all the way around using a press-on roller.

Replacing seal for rear panel

1. Remove seal for rear panel.
1.1. Pull off seal at the side -4- of the rear glass panel -2- sideways.
1.2. Pull off seal at the front -3- of the rear glass panel -2- in an upward direction.
2. Install seal for rear panel.

Information

To make installation easier, the area should be moistened with a soapy solution.

2.1. Press seal at the front -3- into the front mounting from above and centre it.
2.2. Press seal at the side -4- into the mounting on the glass panel.
