Low Fuel Lamp/Indicator: Description and Operation

When less than 10 litres of fuel remains in the tank the low fuel level indicator lamp in the main instrument display panel will light up. At the same time, the main instrument display panel will ground pin 73 of the Motronic control module.

The function is used only for OBD II diagnosis.
