Cylinder Head Removed

NOTE:
^ Step numbers below refer to numbers used in the illustrations.
^ Cylinder head, camshafts and valve gear removed.

1. Install sleeve tool No. 83 93 746, or equivalent, to protect the tappet bores.
2. Remove the seals from the valve guides using pliers tool No. 83 94 157, or equivalent.
- If the guides are to be replaced, remove then and the seals together.
