Differential Bearing Race, Clutch Housing

To remove





1. (Petrol) Remove the four screws on the seal retainer. Lift away the screws and seal retainer and remove the O-ring.





2. (Diesel) Knock out the bearing race carefully with a hammer and drift (destructive removal)

IMPORTANT: Tap the same amount on both sides!

To fit





1. Fit (press) the new bearing race until it stops with drip 83 90 122* and sleeve 87 91 204 a





2. (Petrol) Refit the seal ring and O-ring. Tighten the screws to torque alternately.
Tightening torque: 22 Nm (16 ft. lbs.).





3. (Diesel) Fit new seal with drift 83 90 122
