Sensor power supply. Shorted to ground







Fault symptoms
- Error message "PARKING ASSIST FAILURE" shown on the SID when reverse is selected.
- The SPA stops measurement and acoustic signals are given by the SID when the SPA shuts down.

Condition
The following conditions apply for the diagnostic trouble code in question:
- Ignition switch in ON position
- Reverse gear selected
- The sensor power supply is below approx. 4 V.
