Fault symptoms
ESP OFF lamp on
No ESP function

Conditions
The signal from the yaw rate sensor exceeds 4.75V or is below 0.25V for more than 0.1 s.
The reference signal from the yaw rate sensor exceeds 2.9 V or is less than 2.1 V for more than 0.2 s.
Incorrect or implausible signal from lateral acceleration sensor.

Diagnostic help The value from the yaw rate sensor can be read using the diagnostic tool and should be 0 when the car is stationary.
