Engine speed, error message from ECM

Fault symptoms
ESP OFF lamp on
No ESP function

Conditions
ESP receives information about the current engine speed from ECM via the bus. If the ECM sends a message that this information is erroneous, a DTC is generated.

Diagnostic help
This DTC indicates a fault in the ECM. Refer to fault diagnosis for the engine control module in question.
