Check the Harness Between Module and Airbag

Check The Wiring Harness Between The Control Module And The Passenger's Airbag

Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.







- Check the 2-pin connector on the wiring harness for an open circuit/pin slide-out and rectify it if necessary.
- Connect reference resistor 86 12 095 to the 2-pin female connector.







Unplug the connector:
Control module, Airbag 331







- Check pins 3 and 4 for open circuit/pin slid-out and rectify if necessary.
- Connect the break-out box (BOB) to the wiring harness.
- Select the diagnostic trouble code that was generated.
