Air Injection Pump: Service and Repair

Secondary Air Pump

To remove
1. Raise the car.
2. Remove Torque arm, front.
3. Remove the pump with bracket.





^ Remove the bracket's bolts (A).
^ Unplug the connector (B).
^ Remove the pipes (C) from the pump.
^ Remove the radiator hose from the anchorage (D).
^ Remove the cable coil's clips (E).
^ Lift down the pump with complete bracket.

4. When replacing the pump, detach the mounting.





^ Remove the nuts (A):
^ Unplug the connector (B).

To fit
1. When replacing the pump, attach the mounting.





^ Fit the nuts (A).
^ Plug in the connector (B).

2. Fit the pump with bracket.





^ Fit the pipes (C) for the pump.
^ Fit the bracket's bolts (A).
^ Fit the cable coil's clips (E).
^ Plug in the connector (B).
^ Fit the radiator hose to the anchorage (D).

3. Fit Torque arm, front.
4. Lower the car.
