PCV Valve Hose: Service and Repair

Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose/Pipe/Tube Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the intake manifold sight shield. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement (Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement).
2. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) foul air hose from the intake manifold and valve rocker arm cover.




3. Remove the PCV fresh air hose (2) from the valve rocker arm cover (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the PCV fresh air hose (2) to the valve rocker arm cover (1).




2. Install the PCV foul air hose to the intake manifold and valve rocker arm cover.
3. Install the intake manifold sight shield. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement (Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement).
