Rear Seat Cushion Trim Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement (Rear Seat Replacement).




2. Remove the rear seat bracket trim covers (1).
3. Remove the rear seat bracket mounting nuts (2).
4. Remove the rear seat bracket.




5. Remove the 2 bolts (2) securing the support (1) to the seat cushion trim panel.




6. Remove the seat cover J-strips (1) from the seat cushion trim panel (2).




7. Remove the screws securing the seat cushion trim panel to the seat frame.
8. Remove the seat cushion trim panel.

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install the screws securing the seat cushion trim panel to the seat cushion assembly and tighten to 2 Nm (18 in. lbs.).




2. Install the seat cover J-strips (1) to the seat cushion trim panel (2).




3. Install the 2 bolts (2) securing the support (1) to the seat cushion trim panel and tighten to 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.).




4. Install the rear seat bracket with the 4 mounting nuts (2) and tighten to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the rear seat bracket trim covers (1).
6. Install the seat in the vehicle. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement (Rear Seat Replacement).
