Master Cylinder Assembly

Fig. 4 Master Cylinder Piston Assembly:

1. Lubricate secondary seal with clean brake fluid.
2. Lubricate master cylinder bore with clean brake fluid.
3. Install spring into master cylinder bore.
4. Install secondary piston assembly into master cylinder bore.
5. Lubricate primary seal with clean brake fluid.
6. Lubricate master cylinder bore with clean brake fluid.
7. Install primary piston assembly into master cylinder bore.





8. Install retainer clip, while depressing primary piston assembly (use wooden dowel to depress piston assembly).
9. Install reservoir.
10. Install brake fluid level switch.
11. Install master cylinder into vehicle.
