Removal

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Remove intake air duct, air filter box and resonator.





3. Remove fan motor electrical connector.
4. Remove wiring harness from shroud.
5. Remove top hold down bolt from cooling fan assembly.

IMPORTANT: On models with automatic transaxle, it may be necessary to loosen top automatic transaxle oil cooler line and move it out of the way.





6. Lift cooling fan off of upper and lower mounting brackets. Move assembly to the left and rotate counterclockwise lifting right side up past upper radiator hose.
7. Remove fan assembly from vehicle.
