Installation
1. Install EVAP canister vent solenoid to box on filler pipe.

NOTE: Insure that vent solenoid "clicks" into engagement with locking tab on box.

2. Install shield on [1][2]EVAP vent solenoid box.

IMPORTANT: The lid or shield for the EVAP canister vent solenoid must always be installed. The lid and the solenoid box shield the vent solenoid from water and contaminants. This allows the vent solenoid to function properly.

NOTE: Insure that vent pipe is properly positioned in retainer on fuel filler pipe lower attachment.

3. Install vent pipe and molded hose to quick connect on canister vent hose.
4. Install vent pipe hose to vent solenoid and secure with clamp.
5. Perform the "Service Bay Diagnostic Test" for the evaporative emission system using the Scan tool. This test will verify the integrity of the vapor handling areas of the fuel system.
