Rear Seat Belt Center Belt/Buckle

REMOVAL






1. On Coupe, remove inserts from rear seat console.
2. Remove rear seat console screws and remove rear seat console.






3. Remove rear seat cushion by pushing rearward and upward at retainer locations to disengage seat cushion retainer.






4. Push center seat belt buckles through seat cushion.
5. Remove center belt/buckle assembly.

INSTALLATION

CAUTION: APPLY LOCTITE(R) 242 THREADLOCKER OR EQUIVALENT TO ALL RESTRAINT FASTENERS BEFORE INSTALLING THEM.

1. Install seat belt/buckle to floor pan stud with nut ensuring that replacement belts are placed in original locations.

Torque: 50 N.m (37 ft-lbs)






2. Install rear seat cushion routing rear seat belt/buckle units through slits in seat cushion.
a. Route rear seat belt/buckle units through slits in rear seat cushion.
b. Align rear seat cushion over lower retainers.
c. Push down and rearward to secure rear seat cushion retainers.
d. Pull up on cushion to verify it is secure.
e. Ensure belts are not twisted.






3. On Coupe, install rear seat console fasteners.
4. On Coupe, install rear seat console inserts.
