Seat Side Mount Buckle Unit

IMPORTANT: LHD shown; RHD similar.

REMOVAL

1. Remove seat from vehicle.






2. For driver's seat, remove bolt from seat side mount buckle unit and remove seat side mount buckle unit wire attaching clip. Remove seat side mount buckle unit from vehicle.
3. For passenger's seat, remove bolt from seat side mount buckle unit and remove seat side mount buckle unit from vehicle.

IMPORTANT: LHD shown; RHD similar.

INSTALLATION

CAUTION: APPLY LOCTITE(R) 242 THREADLOCKER OR EQUIVALENT TO ALL RESTRAINT FASTENERS BEFORE INSTALLING THEM.

1. For driver's seat, secure seat side mount buckle unit wire with attaching clip. Route wire in front of seat inner adjuster assembly mounting bracket.






2. For driver's and passenger's seat, position the seat side mount buckle unit 25 degrees forward of vertical to side of seat and install bolt.

Torque: 75 N.m (55 ft-lbs)

3. Install seat.
