Front Seat Belt Unit and Presenter Arm - Coupe

REMOVAL
1. Remove rear seat cushion.






2. Remove fasteners that attach the seat belt slide bar and remove slide bar.






3. Remove seat belt retractor access door.
4. Remove fastener and seat belt unit retractor.
5. Unsnap seat belt bolt cover.






6. Loosen captured fastener and rotate presenter arm forward to disengage presenter arm guide notch from spaceframe.
7. After presenter arm is disengaged from spaceframe, completely loosen captured fastener and remove presenter arm assembly and seat belt assembly.
8. Remove presenter arm and seat belt unit.

INSTALLATION

CAUTION: USE LOCTITE(R) 242 THREADLOCKER OR EQUIVALENT ON ALL RESTRAINT FASTENERS WHEN INSTALLING THEM.






1. Install presenter arm and the seat belt unit assembly.

Torque: 50 N.m (37 ft-lbs)

2. Install seat belt unit retractor and fastener.

Torque: 50 N.m (37 ft-lbs)

3. Install seat belt retractor access door.






IMPORTANT: Make certain the cut and stitched side of the belt loop is facing outboard and the belt is straight as pictured.

4. Grasp seat belt at unattached end.
5. Rotate belt loop inboard to the center of vehicle 180 degrees rearward. Place loop over slide bar as shown.






6. Install slide bar and fasteners.

Torque: 50 N.m (37 ft-lbs)
