Rear Side Door Check Link Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear side door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .




2. Remove the rubber check link seal.
3. Partially loosen the water vapor barrier (right).




4. Remove the check link (2).

* Remove the bolt (1).
* Remove the 2 nuts (3).




Installation Procedure


Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

1. Install the check link.

* Tighten the bolt to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
* Tighten the 2 nuts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).


2. Install the water vapor barrier.
3. Install the rubber check link seal.
4. Install the rear side door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
