Hood Strut Replacement

Removal Procedure





Caution: Refer to Hood Hold-Open Device Caution (Service Precautions) .

Notice: Refer to Liftgate Assist Rod Notice (Service Precautions) .

1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the strut.

* Support the hood.
* Open the 2 retaining clips.
* Remove the strut.




Installation Procedure

1. Install the strut.
2. Install the strut support clip.
3. Close the hood.
