Exhaust Rear Muffler Heat Shield Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the muffler with tailpipe. Refer to Muffler Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the rear exhaust heat shield.
3. Loosen the 3 nuts (arrows).



Installation Procedure


Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

1. Install the rear exhaust heat shield.

Tighten the 3 nuts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

2. Install the muffler with tailpipe. Refer to Muffler Replacement (Service and Repair) .
