Seat Belt Height Adjuster Replacement - Front (5-Door)

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the upper center pillar access trim panel.

* Release the access panel (1).
* Loosen the center pillar trim panel in the upper area and remove upper center pillar trim panel (2).
* Release the 6 clips.
* Remove the center pillar trim panel.





2. Remove the seat belt with deflection guide.

* Remove the bolt (1).
* Remove the deflection guide (2).





3. Remove the center pillar weatherstrip.
Remove the 3 clips.





Important: Ensure the nut does not drop off.


4. Remove the height adjuster (1).
Remove the 2 nuts (2).



Installation Procedure


Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

1. Install the height adjuster.

Tighten the 2 nuts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

2. Install the center pillar weatherstrip.
Install the 3 clips.
3. Install the seat belt with deflection guide.
Install the roller.

Tighten the bolt to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

4. Install the center pillar trim panel.

* Install the center pillar trim panel.
* Install the upper in the lower center pillar trim panel.
* Install the 6 clips.
* Install the access panel.
