Transmission Fluid Level Indicator Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the fluid filter bolt (1) and tube (2).
2. Remove the seal (3) from the fluid filler tube.



Installation Procedure





1. Install a NEW seal (3) on the fluid filler tube (2).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the fluid filler tube and push fluid filler tube into the transmission as far as the stop.

Tighten the bolt (1) to 60 N.m (44 lb ft).

3. Check and add fluid. Refer to Transmission Fluid Check (Transmission Fluid Check) .
