Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the bench seat.

* Disconnect the 2 brackets (1) front.
* Support the 2 bench seat from rear bracket.
* Push the seat simultaneously backwards and upward.




2. Remove the rear seat backrest.

* Remove the 2 bolts at the front.
* Remove the seat belt buckle.
* Remove the 2 bolts, side.
* Fold down the rear seat backrest.
* Remove the 2 bolts at the back.




3. Remove the rear seat backrest.
Remove the rear seat backrest from the side guide.
4. Remove the head restraints.
5. Detach the rear seat backrest cover.
Remove the 11 clips.




6. Detach the left (1), right (2) and center hinge brackets.
Remove the 3 bolts.
7. Detach the upholstery covering all the way round.
8. Detach the head restraint guide sleeve.
Detach the 4 head restraint guide sleeve with a suitable tool.
9. Detach the seat belt panel.
Unclip the cover.




10. Remove the upholstery covering.

* Detach the 11 clamps.
* Remove the upholstery covering.

11. Remove the upholstery padding.




12. Detach the rear center seat belt.

* Support the seat belt lock cable.
* Remove the bolt.
* Remove the belt, arrow.

13. Detach the rear center cable seat belt lock from the seat belt roller.
Release and remove the cable.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the rear center cable seat belt lock to the seat belt roller.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Attach the rear center seat belt.

Tighten the bolt to 35 Nm (26 lb ft).
Support the rear center cable seat belt lock.
3. Install the pad.
4. Install the upholstery covering.

* Position the upholstery covering.
* Install the 11 clamps.

5. Install the seat belt panel.
6. Install the head restraint guide sleeve.
Install the 4 head restraint guide sleeves, audible click.
7. Install the surrounding upholstery covering.
8. Attach the left, right and center hinge brackets.

Tighten the 3 bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).

9. Attach the rear seat backrest cover.
Attach the 11 clips.
10. Install the head restraints.
11. Insert the rear seat backrest.

Note: Use screw locking compound.

12. Install the rear seat backrest.

Tighten the 2 screws at back to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).

* Fold down the rear seat backrest.
* Insert the 2 belt buckles.

- Tighten the 2 bolts, side to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).
- Tighten the 2 front bolts to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).

13. Insert the rear seat cushions and lock.
