Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front wheel.




2. Remove the stabilizer shaft links.

* Remove the stabilizer shaft link (1) from spring strut support tube.
* Counterhold at the two flattened areas of the knuckle bolt with open-ended wrench.
* Remove the stabilizer shaft link from stabilizer (2).
* Counterhold at the two flattened areas of the knuckle bolt with open-ended wrench.

Installation Procedure

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install the stabilizer shaft links to the stabilizer.

Tighten the nuts to 55 Nm (40 lb ft).

* Use the 2 new nuts.
* Counterhold at the two flattened areas of the knuckle bolt with open-ended wrench.

2. Install the stabilizer shaft links to spring strut support tube.
Counterhold at the two flattened areas of the knuckle bolt with open-ended wrench.

Tighten the bolt to 55 Nm (40 lb ft).

3. Install the front wheel.

Tighten the bolt to 110 Nm (81 lb ft).
