COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY















OVERHAUL

HINT: Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

1. REMOVE METER HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY




a. Tilt the steering column assembly down as far as possible.
b. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 9 claws.

HINT: Tape the moulding remover tip before use.




c. While holding the instrument panel sub-assembly upper as shown in the illustration, remove the meter hood sub-assembly.

HINT: Attach protective tape to the column cover upper to prevent it from being damaged during removal.




2. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the screw, and disengage the 2 claws.
b. Pull the combination meter assembly toward the rear of the vehicle, disconnect the connectors, and remove the combination meter assembly.




3. REMOVE COMBINATION METER GLASS
a. Disengage the 8 claws, then remove the combination meter glass.
