2AZ-FE EMISSION CONTROL: PURGE VALVE: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL NO. 1 VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY





(a) Install the No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly onto the air cleaner hose.





(b) Connect the 2 purge line hoses to the No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly.
NOTICE: Make sure that the hose clip and mark are at the correct angle when installing.

(c) Install the wire harness clamp.
(d) Connect the connector.
2. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
3. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform the initialization Testing and Inspection.
NOTICE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
