Electric Parking Brake Switch: Service and Repair

Parking Brake Switch

REMOVAL
1) Remove the instrument panel lower cover.
2) Remove the screws and remove the parking brake switch.





INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.

INSPECTION

PARKING BRAKE CONTROL SWITCH
Measure the resistance between parking brake control switch terminals.








NOTE:
If it is not within the specification, replace the switch.

HILL HOLD SWITCH
Measure the resistance between hill hold switch terminals.








NOTE:
If it is not within the specification, replace the switch.
