Brake Fluid Pump Relay: Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect negative cable from battery.
2. Remove pump motor relay from relay box.





3. Check resistance between each two terminals.
^ Between "2" and "4": 70-90 ohms at 20°C, 68°F.
^ Between "1" and "3": No continuity





4. Check that there is continuity between terminals "1" and "3" when battery is connected to terminals "2" and "4". If check result is not as specified in Step 3 and 4, replace.
