No Lock-Up Occurs
System DescriptionTCM turns TCC solenoid OFF under any of the following conditions.
^ Engine coolant temperature is lower than 50°C (122°F).
^ Lock-up off signal by cruise control module is ON.
^ Input shaft speed sensor circuit is in faulty condition. (P0717)
^ Output shaft speed sensor circuit is in faulty condition. (P0722)
^ TCC solenoid circuit is in faulty condition. (P0743)
^ Pressure control solenoid circuit is in faulty condition. (P0748)
^ Shift solenoid circuit is in faulty condition. (P0753/P0758)
^ Throttle position signal circuit is in faulty condition. (P1700)
^ TCM is in faulty condition. (P1702)
Troubleshooting
WARNING:
^ When performing a road test, select a place where there is no traffic or possibility of a traffic accident and be very careful during testing to avoid occurrence of an accident.
^ Road test should be carried out with 2 persons, a driver and tester, on a level road.
