Center High Mount Stoplamp Removal and Installation (For STATION WAGON Model)

Removal
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the tailgate trim cover screws.
3. Remove the tailgate trim cover.




4. Remove the tailgate garnish molding.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector.
6. Remove the rear wiper motor.
7. Remove the license plate lamps bracket bolts and the nuts.
8. Remove the license plate lamps bracket.




9. Remove the station wagon door latch rod.
10. Remove the center high mounted stoplamp nuts.




11. Remove the center high mounted stoplamp.

Installation
1. Install the center high mounted stoplamp.




2. Install the center high mounted stoplamp nuts.

Tighten: Tighten the center high mounted stoplamp nuts to 4 Nm (35 in. lbs.).

3. Install the license plate lamps bracket.
4. Install the license plate lamps bracket bolts and nuts.
5. Install the station wagon door latch rod.
6. Install the rear wiper motor.




7. Connect the electrical connector.

8. Install the tail gate trim cover.
9. Install the tail gate trim cover screws.




10. Connect the negative battery cable.
