DTC Detecting Condition and Trouble Area





WARNING:
^ Perform road test in a place where there is no traffic to prevent an accident.
^ Road test should be performed by two persons, a driver and a tester, on a level road.

NOTE:
Be sure to troubleshoot first unexpected DTCs previously detected in "DTC Confirmation Procedure".

DTC Confirmation Procedure

1) Clear DTC.
2) Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
3) Drive vehicle at over 30 km/h (19 mile/h) for 5 to 10 minutes.

NOTE:
^ Avoid mountainous areas that result in different speed between front and rear wheels.
^ Avoid the type of driving in which rapid acceleration causes different speed between front and rear wheels.
^ During the test drive, it does not matter if the vehicle is momentarily stopped at traffic signals.

4) Check DTC.
