OBD System Description - A/F Sensor and HO2S Monitor

System Description/Monitoring Procedure

A/F sensor
A/F sensor is monitored maximum and minimum voltage, maximum and minimum current, lean-to-rich and rich-to-lean response rates when monitoring conditions are met. The sensor is also continuously monitored for activity.

HO2S
HO2S is used for catalyst monitoring and fuel control system (sub feedback). During monitoring, HO2S monitors max. and min. output voltages and compares the voltages with malfunction criteria.
