Generator Removal And InstallationRemoval
1. Disconnect negative (-) cable from battery.
2. Remove engine cover.
3. Remove accessory drive belt.
4. Disconnect "B" terminal wire (1) and connector (2) from generator (3).
5. Remove generator (3).
Installation
Reverse removal procedure, noting the following points
- Tighten generator bolts in numerical order ("1"-> "2" -> "3") evenly and gradually.
Tightening torque
Generator bolt (a): 45 N.m (4.6 kg-m, 33.5 lbf-ft)
- Connect wire (1) to generator as shown in figure, and tighten "B" terminal nut to specified torque.
Tightening torque
"B" terminal nut (b): 11 N.m (1.1 kg-m, 8.5 lbf-ft)
