Hood Lock Member, Lamp Support Brace And Lamp Support Member Removal And Installation






NOTE:
- Welding method and number of welding points are the same on both sides. This repair instruction shows procedure for left side.
- This repair shows procedures under the condition that the folling part is removed.
- Front Fender

Removal

1. Remove 4 bolts and remove hood lock member from vehicle body.






2. Remove 4 bolts and remove lamp support brace and lamp support member from vehicle body.






3. Drill out welding spots to separate lamp support brace and lamp support member.






Installation

NOTE: Before conducting any weld, check installation position and condition for installation part(s).

1. Attach lamp support brace and lamp support member and tighten 4 bolts tentatively.
2. Install front fender panel tentatively and adjust position.
3. Remove front fender panel.
4. Tighten 4 bolts to specified torque.






5. Conduct plug weld.






6. Install hood lock member.
7. Tighten 4 bolts to specified torque.
